The audiovisuals are based on the recordings of NASA’s Voyager 1 and 2 spacecrafts, and the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) for the Sun. The audiovisuals are printed on an aluminium sheet canvas that nicely corresponds with the Voyager spacecrafts that recorded the plasma waves of the planets. The metal also offers a quite sharp print quality.
Each audiovisual consists of one original “audio” file, cut down to 3 minutes, and edited with a beginning and end transition for a perfect loop.
Sound of Sun ☉ The astrological symbol for the sun is ☉. It represents the divine spirit (circle) surrounding the seed of potential (the black dot ;-)
Sound of Earth ⊕ The astrological symbol for the planet Earth is ⊕. It represents the cardinal directions.
Sound of Jupiter ♃ The Astrological symbol for the planet Jupiter is ♃. It represents the mind (crescent) rising above the horizon of matter (cross).
Sound of Saturn ♄ The astrological symbol for the planet Saturn is ♄. It represents the matter (cross) taking precedence over mind or human spirit (crescent).
Sound of Saturn’s Rings ♄ The astrological symbol for the planet Saturn is ♄. It represents the matter (cross) taking precedence over mind or human spirit (crescent).
Sound of Uranus ♅ The astrological symbol for the planet Uranus is ♅. It represents the circle of spirit and a dominant cross of matter, in form of an antenna that uses matter as a way to insight.
There is a great reception and I received lots of great feedback on these few audiovisuals so far. There will be many more, such as from the Cassini, Galileo, Juno, Van Allen, and Stardust spacecraft missions. But I will do Sputnik first. It has a great rhythm and frequency range! Already tested! :)
